Our Christmas Post

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We are having a busy and  fun time at Chiltern Centre in the lead up to the Festive Season!

Our theme for December has been “lights” and we have been exploring “lights” in a multitude of ways, including Diwali and exploring different forms of light.

Buddies and Breakaway Groups combined at the beginning of December for a joint Christmas celebration – which involved a Magic Show by local magician Dizzy Dean, complete with white rabbit!  It was brilliant, crazy fun and really nice to all get together and enjoy a lovely evening of laughter.

Breakaway Group then met up for a delicious meal at Cockadoo restaurant, whilst listening to a Michael Buble Tribute Act.  Another fantastic event, much enjoyed by all!  The group will get together again in January to see a local pantomime.  Oh no they won’t!  Oh yes they will….

We would like to wish all our friends, families and supporters an enjoyable Christmas and wish you all well for the New Year!

PS: Thank you very much to The Lions: the Christmas tree they kindly presented us with again this year looks absolutely stunning!  Thanks also to the children and young people who have decorated it so beautifully.

The Centre is closed on Christmas and Boxing Day; New Years Eve and New Years Day.
